Camp Sozo is more than a week away from home - it’s a place where campers can unplug from everyday distractions, build meaningful relationships, explore the beauty of God’s creation, and grow in their relationship with Christ.
Every activity, lesson, and adventure is designed to create an environment where campers feel welcomed, encouraged, and valued. Whether they’re hiking trails, playing games, worshipping with friends, or gathering around a campfire, campers will experience moments of joy, growth, and connection that last for beyond the summer.
At Camp Sozo, we believe every child has a purpose. Our mission is to provide a safe, fun, and Christ-centered experience where campers can discover who God created them to be while making memories they’ll cherish for years to come.
Camper Scholarship Program
We believe every student should have the opportunity to experience Camp Sozo, regardless of their family’s situation. If the cost of camp is keeping you from registering, we encourage you to apply for our Camper Scholarship Program.
Scholarships are available to help make camp accessible to students who need financial assistance. Each application is prayerfully and confidentially reviewed, and awards are based in available scholarship funds and demonstrated need.

Camp Sozo is proudly hosted at a beautiful rented campground, Camp Lakewood, that provides a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment for our campers. By partnering with an established facility, we are able to focus on creating meaningful experiences, fostering community, and helping campers encounter God in a unique outdoor setting.
